In late 2004, Dean assumed the role of Director of Automation, Food and Beverage. In this role, Dean's responsibilities include business development, domestic food and beverage work and all work in Asia and Australia.
Dean has a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. In 1995, he began his professional career with MAGNUM Technologies, a systems integration company. Dean moved to Los Angeles to open a branch office, which grew to 15 people in two years. In 1999, Dean went to work for Process Analysts, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager, ultimately leaving there to join MAVERICK in late 1999 as Regional Manager of the Industrial Automation group. Dean was responsible for managing all personnel and operations of the engineering business for the St. Louis and Los Angeles offices.
In 2001, Dean assumed the role of Food and Beverage Industry Lead. Dean focused his efforts on growing MAVERICK's food and beverage market.
In 2003, Dean moved to Newark, NJ as Regional Manager of Northeast Operations. As this region grew, Dean managed all personnel and operations.
Dean is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) and the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA). He is also an Engineer in Training (EIT).
Dean believes that strategic and forward thinking provides exceptional service to the client. Dean continually asks himself, "How does the work I do today impact the overall business?" He avidly pursues quality and efficiency at all levels within the organization and its projects.
Outside of work, Dean enjoys traveling, reading and the great outdoors. He currently lives in York, PA with his wife, Mary and their dog, Maggie.
